Although these two forms of intelligence are very different, they are both essential in shaping the modern world. AI represents the power of machines, algorithms, and data-driven decision-making, while EI represents the strength of human emotions, empathy, and social understanding. This article explores the meaning, characteristics, strengths, limitations, and interrelationship between artificial intelligence and emotional intelligence in a formal academic style.

Can AI Develop Emotional Intelligence?
Researchers have developed AI systems that recognize emotions through facial expressions or voice patterns, but this is only a simulation. AI cannot genuinely feel emotions, and therefore cannot achieve true emotional intelligence.

The future depends on how effectively humans combine the strengths of AI and EI. AI can manage analytical tasks, while EI ensures that human values, empathy, and ethics guide decision-making.
