Types of Learners
A visually dominant learner absorbs and retains information better when it is presented through pictures, diagrams and charts.
They prefer to see information and visualize in their head
The VAK learning style model was developed
by psychologists in 1920s.
It was developed to classify the most common
ways that students learn.
It is still the most popular teaching learning
model in current time as well.
It consists of three styles model which divide learners into three groups;
Visual Learners
Auditory Learners
Kinesthetic learners
Visual Learners

Auditory Learners
An auditory dominant learner prefers listening to what is being presented.
S/he responds best to voices i.e. in a lecture or group discussion
Kinesthetic Learners
A kinesthetic dominant
learner prefers physical experience
S/he likes “hands on” approach and respond well to being able to touch and feel objects during learning.
