Poush 15, 2081 was a truly memorable and heartwarming day at Nepal Police School, Sanga, as we welcomed back our beloved alumni. As a teacher who has dedicated three decades to this institution, the experience was profoundly nostalgic and emotional. The joy of reconnecting with former students, some of whom I had taught in my earliest years at the school, brought back vivid memories of the past, making me feel as though I was in my twenties again. Sure

The program was not just a reunion; it was a celebration of the deep bond between the school and its alumni. The day began with a visit to the school premises, where the alumni explored familiar spaces, including the hostels they had once called home. Walking through these halls, they were transported back to their student days, recalling fond memories of their time at school. Many shared stories of the silly acts and lighthearted moments they had experienced, bringing laughter and smiles to everyone around.

Their interaction with current students at the hostels was particularly inspiring. They offered words of encouragement and shared their personal journeys, highlighting the value of discipline, perseverance, and education. These heartfelt exchanges bridged the generational gap and created a sense of continuity and belonging. The alumni also emphasized the importance of organizing such visits regularly to strengthen ties and inspire the younger generation.

The respect and admiration displayed by the alumni were genuinely humble and a reminder of the lifelong bonds formed through teaching. Witnessing their accomplishments and the fondness they still hold for the school and its teachers was incredibly fulfilling. It reaffirmed the significance of the role we play as teachers in shaping young lives and leaving an unforgettable impact.

A particularly touching moment of the program was the recognition given to teachers who have served the school for more than seventeen years. The certificate of gratitude awarded to these teachers was a powerful gesture of appreciation. It highlighted the value of commitment, hard work, and the lasting influence teachers have on their students' lives. This acknowledgment not only uplifted the honored teachers but also set an inspiring example for the younger faculty members.

The environment throughout the program was pleasant and celebratory, filled with warmth and a sense of community. The alumni remembered about their time at the school, sharing stories of their experiences, which served as a reminder of the rich history and legacy of Nepal Police School.

Another significant part of the day was the  initiation of forming  new executive committee to lead the alumni association. The decision to make the committee more active and engaged came after a reflection on the past committee’s inactivity over the years. This step signifies a commitment to strengthening alumni relations and fostering a more dynamic connection between the school and its graduates. The new committee has the potential to organize impactful initiatives, contribute to the school’s growth, and create meaningful opportunities for current students and alumni alike.

The school principal’s presentation of updates about the school provided an excellent overview of the institution’s progress and achievements. The commandant’s suggestion to conduct such alumni programs regularly in the future resonated deeply with everyone present. These gatherings serve as an invaluable platform for celebrating our shared journey, exchanging ideas, and building a stronger sense of belonging among all stakeholders.

In conclusion, that day’s alumni meeting was more than just a reunion—it was a celebration of the enduring spirit of Nepal Police School, Sanga. It was a day filled with gratitude, nostalgia, and hope for the future. The program reminded us all of the profound connections between teachers, students, and alumni, and it laid the foundation for a renewed and active alumni association. Such events enrich the school community and inspire us to continue striving for excellence. I expect to have regular gatherings like this in the years to come, which will help make Nepal Police School truly special.
